‘Self’ Preservation: Hold On to Yourself… Self-Awareness is not only difficult, it also requires a lot of time, effort, and it takes the implementation of new healthy habits. But, what do you do once you achieve self-awareness?
First of all, self-awareness grows exponentially. You will continue learning about yourself, and thus the world, for the rest of your life. Self-control and self-awareness are moment to moment battles that never end. As you battle your ego for control, know that others are fighting the same battle. However, most of us lose. In fact, most of us constantly lose this battle. But you must know… the battle within yourself is more important than the battle within your neighbor. Helping others is only helpful when we come from a place of awareness and wholeness. Otherwise, we use others struggles to fill our voids… do not ignore your void.
